Known for our innovative micro-duct, air-blown fibre, and proven micro and narrow trench installation techniques, our solutions have been deployed in high-profile networks across the globe, from Olympic venues to government and military facilities. Our flexible products, installation expertise, and decades of experience have established “The Lite Access Way” as a trusted, recommended method for both trunk and FTTx connectivity.

Established in 1999 in Salmon Arm, Ironman Directional Drilling has been at the forefront of trenchless technology, specializing in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and utility installation. With a reputation built on professionalism, innovation, and environmental stewardship, Ironman has successfully delivered cost-effective underground infrastructure projects across Canada and the U.S. We bring the expertise, equipment, and project management needed to complete complex jobs on time and on budget.

Over the years, the two companies have worked side by side on some of Lite Access’s most successful projects, including Haida Gwaii, BC and Highway 1 in British Columbia. In June 2022, following a change in leadership, it became clear that uniting these two organizations was the natural path forward. The combined strength of Lite Access’s global fibre-optic innovation and Ironman’s proven directional drilling, and all around construction expertise creates a powerhouse uniquely positioned to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects in some of the world’s most challenging terrains.
